Course Information

Certification

Participants will receive Sensible Safety certificate of attendance on completion of a written and practical assessment.  Certification is valid for 2 years.

Duration

Approximately 4 hours

Training Aim:

This half day course is designed to raise awareness of fire hazards and how to act safely in the event of an emergency fire situation.

Course Content

  • Describe the chemistry of the nature of a fire
  • Identify fire hazards in the workplace
  • Use and maintain portable fire extinguishers (if provided)
  • Test evacuation procedures
